Our training center is set up over at RHB 1/212 in the local housing board colony. It is a very simple setup where we have a bunch of computers lined up against the walls. We teach basic computer skills to anyone who wants to learn, from kids to older folks in the neighborhood. The room is a bit cramped when all the computers are being used at once. We have those old-style office chairs that sometimes squeak when you move around. There is a small desk near the door where we keep the register and take the fees. The lighting is a bit bright because of the fluorescent tubes we installed. Since we are in a residential block, it feels more like a community spot than a formal school. We often have the door open to let some air in, so you can hear the sounds of the neighborhood children playing. The walls are painted a light blue, and we have a few posters showing keyboard shortcuts for the students. It is nothing fancy, just a place where you can sit down and practice your typing or learn how to use the internet. We have been here for a while and most of the people nearby know us. We don't really do much marketing; people just see the small board outside and come in to ask about the timings. It is just a regular local computer center for the folks around here.
