We set up Upcode Solutions Private Limited inside Triangle Residency, specifically in Flat No 202. It’s in the Income Tax Colony part of Jaipur, which is a fairly organized neighborhood. Working out of an apartment building has its ups and downs. It’s quiet enough to get work done, but you still hear the usual sounds of people living their lives nearby. We spend most of our time staring at code and trying to fix bugs that shouldn't be there in the first place. The office is basically just a few rooms filled with computers and chairs. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Jaipur; we just want to do decent work for the people we help. The pin code here is 302018, and it’s a convenient enough spot for most of the team to get to. Sometimes the lift in the building is slow, so we end up taking the stairs. We don't have a fancy reception or a coffee machine that makes fancy lattes. We just have a kettle and some packets of tea. It’s a very straightforward setup. Most of the time, we are just heads-down on our laptops. The Income Tax Colony is a nice place to be based because it doesn't feel as chaotic as the very center of the city. We just keep things simple and try to finish our work before it gets too late in the evening and the building gets quiet.
