United Plywood

United Plywood is located at 42 Malhotra Nagar, right off M I Road. If you know the area, you know it’s a prime spot for shops like ours. We have piles of plywood stacked up everywhere in the shop. It smells like sawdust and wood all the time, which we’ve gotten used to over the years. We aren't a big chain store or anything. We are just a local shop where you can find different grades of wood. The building is a bit older and the floors are worn down from moving heavy sheets around. We don’t have a fancy website or a marketing department. It’s just us behind the counter and a couple of guys helping with the loading. Most of our customers are local builders or people doing up their own homes. We spend a lot of time measuring things and cutting them to size if needed. It’s a busy place, especially in the mornings when the deliveries arrive. M I Road is always humming with activity, and we are right in the middle of it. We just keep things simple. We have the wood, we tell you the price, and we help you get it to your vehicle. There’s no pressure or sales talk here. We just show up every day and do our best to keep the stacks organized and the customers satisfied with what they buy. It's a bit of a dusty life but we like it fine.
