Triveni Spices

We are located out in the Kanota Industrial Area at Triveni Spices. Our building is right across from the Navneet Flour Mill, so we hear their machinery running all day long. It is a bit of a drive to get out here, and the roads are mostly unpaved and bumpy. The area is quite dusty, especially when the big trucks roll through to pick up supplies. We spend our days sorting through whole spices and getting them ready for whatever comes next. It is hard work that leaves your hands smelling like cumin and coriander. The building itself is a plain concrete structure with a heavy metal door. We don't have air conditioning, so we keep the windows open to catch a breeze. Sometimes a stray dog will wander in looking for shade, and we don't mind much as long as it stays out of the way. We are a small group of people who have worked together for years. We know each other’s habits and how to get the work done without arguing. We don't worry about being the biggest company or having the best office. We just care about making sure the bags are full and the quality is okay. When the sun starts to go down, we lock up the gate and head home, ready to do the same thing again tomorrow. It is a quiet existence out here in the industrial part of Kanota.
