It is a hectic place to be, especially on the weekends when the crowds are thick. We deal with all sorts of things throughout the day. The shop isn't very large, so we have to be smart about how we stack the stock. Sometimes boxes are piled up near the door, but we try to keep it organized enough for people to get through. It is a typical Jaipur market vibe. You hear the traffic from Mi Road and the voices of other shopkeepers all day long. We don't spend money on big fancy displays. We just have what we have on the shelves. Most of our customers are locals who know where we are or people who stumble upon us while shopping in the area. We open up early and stay until the market starts to wind down. It is a lot of standing around and talking to people, which is fine by us. We handle our own paperwork on a small desk in the back.
