Tik Tek

You can find Tik Tek over at 261 Tripolia Bazar, which is one of those streets that never seems to go quiet. There is always someone honking or a cart pushing past the front door. We have been in this spot for a bit, and the shop is packed with all sorts of things we have collected over time. It is not the biggest place in the world, but we make it work by stacking things high on the shelves. Sometimes it takes a minute to find exactly what a customer is asking for, but we usually get there in the end. The lighting inside is a little dim because one of the overhead bulbs keeps flickering, but we just haven't climbed up the ladder to fix it yet. Most people who come in are locals from the bazar or folks just passing through on their way to the main market area. We don't do anything flashy here, just the daily business of running the shop and talking to the neighbors. There is a tea stall a few doors down that makes great chai, so we spend a lot of time drinking that while waiting for deliveries. It’s a simple life at Tik Tek, and we don't try to make it seem like more than it is. The floor is a bit worn down from all the walking, but that just shows how many people have stepped inside over the years.
