Sunstone Pharmaceuticals

Down in the Jhotwara Industrial Area, specifically over in Deep Nagar near Benar Road, you’ll find our place at 84-85. Sunstone Pharmaceuticals isn't a giant factory, but we keep ourselves busy with the daily grind of the medicine business. The area can get pretty dusty with all the construction and trucks passing by, but we try to keep our storage space as clean as possible for the stock. We spend a lot of time checking expiry dates and making sure the boxes are stacked properly so nothing gets damaged. It’s a lot of repetitive work, but it’s important. The office part is just a small corner where we handle the invoices and talk to the distributors who come by. Sometimes the heat in Jhotwara gets to be a bit much, especially in the afternoons, but we just keep the coolers running and stay focused on the inventory. We have a few delivery vans that go out every morning to different parts of the city. It’s mostly just us and a couple of helpers who know where everything is kept on the shelves. We don't have any big meetings or anything like that; we just look at what needs to go out and get it ready. It’s a quiet sort of business compared to the big units around us, but we’ve got our own rhythm. Being near Benar Road makes it easy for the transport to reach us.
