Sunder Ett College is out here in Mahapura, which is quite a bit away from the main Jaipur city chaos. We are located right off Ajmer Road, near the Bhankrota area. The college building sits in the village post area, so it gets pretty quiet at times, though the traffic on the highway is always there in the background. Most people around here know us because we’ve been part of the Sanganer tehsil for a while now. The weather in this part of Rajasthan gets really hot during the summers, and you can see the dust kicking up from the fields nearby. Students come in from the surrounding villages and towns, mostly using the local buses or their own bikes to get to classes. It isn’t a fancy place with glass walls or anything like that. It’s just a solid building where people come to learn and get their work done. The classrooms have big windows to let the air in, and during the winter mornings, it feels quite peaceful before the day really starts. Sometimes the power goes out, or the road gets a bit bumpy after the monsoon rains, but that is just how things are in this part of Jaipur. We spend a lot of time just keeping things running and making sure everyone has what they need. It’s a local spot, through and through, and we like being tucked away from the crowded parts of the city while still being easy enough to find.
