Department Of Biotechnology Nims University

Being part of the Department Of Biotechnology Nims University out here in Shobha Nagar means we spend a lot of our time in the labs and classrooms. It’s a bit of a drive from the main city, but the campus is usually full of life with students running around and staff trying to keep up with schedules. Our particular spot is dedicated to the bio side of things, so there’s always some sort of experiment going on or papers being graded. The building itself has that academic feel to it—a bit old in some places, but everything works well enough for what we need. We don't have a lot of fancy furniture, just sturdy tables and the equipment required for the science we do. Most of us have been here long enough that we know every creak in the floorboards. It’s a quiet area of Shobha Nagar for the most part, except when classes are changing over. We usually have coffee brewing in the corner of the staff room because the days can get pretty long when you’re looking into microscopic details for hours. We aren't trying to be anything we’re not, just a group of people interested in how things work on a biological level. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from Monday to Friday, and sometimes even on weekends when a project needs extra attention.
