Subhash Ayurvedic Store

If you walk down the main road in Kishanpole Bazar, you will find us at number 223, right near the entrance to Bichoon Market. Subhash Ayurvedic Store has been a fixture here for a long time. The shop is filled with the smell of different herbs and roots, which is something you just get used to after a few days. We have old wooden shelves lined with glass jars and packets of all sorts of things. It is a busy spot, especially with the bazaar crowd always moving past the door. The noise from the street is constant, with rickshaws honking and people shouting, but inside it feels a bit more grounded. We spend most of our time measuring things out and talking to people who come in looking for something specific. We don't use any fancy computer systems or anything like that; we just know where everything is on the shelves. It can get a bit cramped when a few customers come in at once because the shop isn't that large. We usually have a container of water sitting out and a small bench for people to sit on while they wait. It is a very traditional way of doing things, and we haven't seen a reason to change it. We just keep the jars full and wait for the next person to walk in.
