Our place is right at 335 in Johri Bazar. If you know the area, you know how crowded it gets with people and carts all the time. Ishwarlal Ram Pratap Pansari has been a name around here for quite a bit. The shop isn't huge, but we pack a lot into the shelves. It smells like old wood and whatever we are moving that day. We open up early because the market starts moving before the sun is even fully up. Dealing with the traffic in Johri Bazar is just part of the daily life. You get used to the noise after a few years. We do not have any fancy signs or bright lights. Just the old wooden counter and the ledgers we keep. Sometimes the fans don't work right when it is really humid, but we keep going. People stop by to chat as much as they do to buy things. That is just how it is in this part of town. We handle a lot of different things, mostly stuff people need for their homes or small businesses. It is messy sometimes. Boxes get stacked in corners where they probably shouldn't be. But we know where everything is. You won't find us on any big maps with flashing lights. We are just a local shop trying to get through the list of chores for the day. It is honest work and we have been at it for years.
