Study Mania

You can find Study Mania at Cabin Number-2 in Jhotwara. It is a small setup, as you can probably tell from the fact that we are in a cabin. We don't have a lot of space, but we make the most of what we have. Jhotwara is a big area in Jaipur and there are lots of coaching centers here, but we like our little corner. It’s just a simple room with some chairs and a desk where I sit. Most of the students are from the nearby streets. They come in after their school is over to get help with their daily lessons. It gets a bit crowded in the afternoons, and sometimes students have to wait a bit for a seat, but nobody seems to mind much. We don't use any fancy technology, just books, pens, and paper. I think sometimes the simpler way is better anyway. The name Study Mania makes it sound like we are very intense, but we actually try to keep things pretty low-key. We just want the kids to finish their work so they can go home. There is a lot of dust from the road outside, so we are always cleaning the desks. It’s a basic place, but it provides a quiet spot for students who might not have one at home. We just keep doing our thing day after day. It is often quite hot inside during the afternoons, but we have a small cooler that helps.
