Star Engineering Works

Star Engineering Works is situated at Plot No:- 182, Sector - 1, in Transport Nagar. Being in Transport Nagar means we are surrounded by big trucks and warehouses all day. It’s a gritty part of town, but it suits the kind of work we do. We handle engineering tasks and repairs, so there’s always a welder sparking somewhere or someone hammering on a piece of steel. The workshop is big and open to let the air in, which is necessary when it gets smoky. We have a lot of heavy tools lying around, and you have to be careful where you step. It’s a busy environment and can feel a bit overwhelming if you aren't used to it. The coffee guy comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take our only real breaks. We’ve been at Plot 182 for quite a while now. The sign out front has faded from the sun, but people still find us. We don't have a website or any of that, just a phone number and a good reputation among the truck drivers and local businesses. It’s a tough job and the hours can be long when a customer is in a hurry to get back on the road. We just focus on the task in front of us and try to get the metal to do what we want it to do. It’s honest work and we like being part of the noise in Sector 1. Sometimes the shop is a mess, but we get the jobs finished.
