Somras

Our place, Somras, sits on M I Road, which is always one of the busiest streets around here. Being in this part of town means we see all sorts of people every single day. We’ve been here long enough that the walls feel like home to us now. It’s not a very large space, but we make it work for what we do every day. We open up the shutters every morning and get things moving before the crowds start building up outside. M I Road has changed a lot over the years, with new shops coming and going, but we just stay here doing our thing. It gets pretty hectic in the afternoons when the sun is up and everyone is out shopping or working. We just focus on serving whatever people need and keeping the place running as smoothly as we can. We don't have a lot of help, so everyone pitches in with everything from cleaning to talking to the customers. It’s a simple setup without any decorations to speak of. We just want to make sure that when someone walks in, they get what they came for without any real fuss. It can be tiring being on such a loud street, but we like the energy of it. It’s a real place for real people to come by.
