Our place is at G-09 in the Central Spine area of Vidhyadhar Nagar, near Jamdoli. Everfresh Fruits & Vegetables is exactly what the name says. We spend our mornings early, long before the sun is up, getting things ready. The shop is where we keep all the crates of produce that come in. It is a lot of physical work, moving boxes and sorting through what is good and what isn't. We aren't a big supermarket, just a local spot where people can get their daily greens. The Central Spine area is usually busy with people doing their shopping. We have been here for some time and have gotten to know the families around. Some people come in every single day for their milk or a few onions. We don't have any fancy displays. The fruits and vegetables are just laid out in crates so people can pick what they want. It smells like earth and fresh produce inside. Sometimes we run out of things quickly if the shipment is small or late. We just tell people to come back the next day. It is a simple business based on what grows in the ground. We work hard and keep the floors swept. It is a good way to spend the day, even if it is tiring sometimes. We just want to provide what people need for their kitchens and their families. We just focus on getting the best stuff we can find.
