Solution

People ask why we called the place Solution when they walk into 38/194 here in Mansarovar. Honestly, it just seemed like a good idea at the time and now the sign is already up so we kept it. We spend most of our mornings opening up the shutters and dusting off the counters because the road outside gets pretty dusty by noon. It is not a very big office or anything, just a few desks and some tools lying around where we try to get things sorted for whoever walks in. Most of the time it is just us drinking tea and waiting for the next person to bring in something that needs fixing or a problem that needs a bit of thinking. We don't have any fancy uniforms or a front desk person who smiles at everyone. It is just a workspace where things happen. Sometimes the lights flicker when the main grid acts up but we just keep going. People from around the neighborhood know us now so they stop by even if they don't have work, just to say hello. The fan makes a bit of noise in the corner but it keeps the heat away during the summer months. We are usually here until late evening unless there is a family thing to go to. It is simple work but it keeps us busy and the rent gets paid on time most months.
