Softbiz is situated in Vidhyadhar Nagar, right in the Central Spine at S 20. It’s a busy commercial hub so there is always something going on outside. Our office isn't very large, but it’s enough for what we do. We mostly handle software stuff and data. Most of the time, the only sound you hear is the clicking of keyboards and the hum of the air conditioner. We have a couple of windows that look out onto the street, which is good for people-watching when we need a break. There is a small park nearby where some of us go to sit for ten minutes if the screens start making our eyes hurt. The space is filled with computers, obviously, and a few stacks of manuals that nobody really reads anymore. We aren't big on formalities here. We wear regular clothes and talk to each other across the room. It makes the day go faster. Sometimes we have meetings, but they are usually just us standing around a desk talking about a project. The commute to Central Spine can be a bit much during peak hours, but we are used to it by now. We’ve built up a routine over the months and years. People stop by to discuss their business needs and we see what we can do to help. It’s just a normal office where we put in the hours and try to do a decent job every day.
