You'll find us at number 55 in the Shri Hari Gurunankpura area of Raja Park, quite close to the State Bank of Patiala. Raja Park is always a bit of a maze with all the narrow lanes and shops squeezed together. Our shop is just one of many, but we’ve been in this spot long enough that the nearby shopkeepers are like family. Every morning begins with the same routine of opening the locks and putting out a few items to show we are open. Space is tight, so we have to be smart about where we put everything. It’s a lot of folding and stacking all day long. The bank nearby means there is always a crowd of people standing around or looking for parking, which can get a bit loud. We don't mind it much. We usually have the radio playing softly in the background just to have some noise other than the traffic. Most of our customers are locals who live within walking distance. They stop by to see what's new or just to say hello while they are out doing their errands. We don't have any big sales pitches or marketing tricks. We just show people what we have and let them decide. It is a small, honest business, and we are happy just being part of the daily life here in Raja Park.
