This & That

We've been over here at G-37 and 38 in the Rice Industrial Area for a while now. It's a busy spot. Most mornings start early because the trucks get moving before the sun is even really up. We mostly deal with a mix of things, hence the name This & That. People stop by and ask what we're doing, and usually, we’re just sorting through stock or getting orders ready for the day. The warehouse floors are a bit dusty, but that's just part of being in an industrial zone like this one. We don't have a fancy office or anything, just some desks tucked in the corner near the loading bay. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, so we sit outside and wait for it to come back on. It’s not a quiet place, there’s always some noise from the neighbors or the machinery running nearby. We just keep our heads down and get the work done. The guys who work here have been around for years, so we all know how the routine goes. It's a lot of manual work, moving boxes, checking lists, and making sure things are where they need to be. We don't spend much time on the computer unless we really have to. Most of what happens here is done by hand. We like it that way. It’s a simple setup but it works for us and the people who come to see us.
