Smcet College

Smcet College is situated at A-3 Arjun Nagar in the Durgapura area of Jaipur. The building has been here for a good while, and it looks like a typical local institution. Inside, the hallways are quite long and can get very noisy when the bells ring and students head to their next lecture. We have classrooms with standard wooden desks and whiteboards that usually have a few faint marks from previous lessons. The summers in Rajasthan are no joke, so the ceiling fans are almost always running at their highest speed, creating a constant low hum in the background. We spend a lot of time in the main office handling registrations and making sure the notice boards are updated with the latest exam schedules. It is a lot of paperwork, honestly. There is a small canteen area where everyone goes for tea, and it is usually the most crowded spot on the premises. The staff room is a bit cramped with all the books and folders piled up on the tables, but we make it work. Most of the people working here live nearby and know the local traffic patterns around the airport road quite well. We do not have any massive gardens or fancy fountains, just a practical space where people come to study and get their work done. It is a busy place, especially during the middle of the semester when everyone is rushing to finish their assignments before the deadlines.
