Smart People

Smart People is an office located on the 2nd Floor of Hsb House. We are right on Bhagwan Das Road in the C-Scheme area, which is a pretty well-known part of the city. Our office is directly across from Xavier School. Because of that, we always know exactly when the school day is starting or ending because the street outside gets completely blocked with cars, rickshaws, and buses. Inside Hsb House, things are a little bit calmer. We have a modest office space where we handle recruitment and some general consulting work. It’s mostly just a collection of desks, chairs, and a few computers that have been here for a while. We have a small area near the entrance where people can sit and wait if they are here for an interview or a meeting. The walls are mostly bare, except for a calendar and a few old notices pinned up. We aren't a big fancy firm with a lobby or a dedicated receptionist. Usually, whoever is sitting closest to the door just looks up and says hello when someone walks in. We spend a lot of our time looking through resumes or talking to people on the phone about different job openings. It’s steady work and we’ve been at this specific location for a few years now. The air conditioning works okay most of the time, which is a big relief during the hot summer months. Sometimes we walk down the street to grab lunch at one of the local cafes. We’re just a small group.
