Kripa Garment

Kripa Garment is out in Sitapura at H- 1- 72. Sitapura is a big industrial area, so there are a lot of units just like ours. We are in the H-block, which is easy enough to find if you know the layout. Our place is basically a large hall where we do all the cutting and stitching. It’s quite open, which helps keep it a bit cooler when the Rajasthan heat really kicks in. We have big fans on the ceiling that never seem to stop. The address H- 1- 72 is where we spend most of our waking hours. We aren't interested in making the place look like a fancy office. It’s a workshop, plain and simple. There are piles of fabric in different colors stacked up against the walls. We have a small corner for the paperwork, but most of the space is for the garments. The sound of the machines is the main thing you notice when you walk in. It’s a steady rhythm that we’ve all grown used to. Sometimes we have issues with the power or a machine breaks down, and we just have to fix it and keep going. That’s just part of the job here. We have a small group of people who have been working together for a long time. We know how each other works, and that makes the long days go by a bit faster. It's just a regular factory day.
