Singodia Flower Decoration & Flowrist & Gift Item

We’ve been at 4/305 Varun Path for quite a bit. It’s on the Madhyam Marg side of Mansarovar, which is always a busy area. The shop is called Singodia Flower Decoration & Flowrist & Gift Item, which is a bit of a long name, I know. We mostly do flowers, but we have a corner for gifts too. It gets pretty hectic when there’s a wedding or a festival. The smell of the flowers is nice, though it can be a lot when the shutters are down. We spend most of our mornings getting the fresh batches ready and cleaning up the stems. My hands are usually a bit dirty from the sap and the water, but that’s just the job. We aren't a big fancy boutique. It’s more of a practical place where people come when they need a bouquet or something for a party. Mansarovar is a big place, and Varun Path gets a lot of locals walking by. We’ve seen kids grow up and now they come in to buy things for their own houses. It makes the day go by faster when you’re busy with orders. Sometimes the delivery truck is late, and we have to scramble, but we manage. We just try to keep the shop running and make sure the flowers stay fresh for as long as possible. It’s a lot of work, but it keeps us going. We have a sink in the back where we trim the stems. It’s a messy business but someone has to do it.
