Our place is B 48 in Transport Nagar. If you have ever been to this part of town, you know it is full of trucks and garages. It is a gritty area, but it suits us just fine. We handle paint here at Singhal Paints Private Limited. The building isn't much to look at from the outside, just a big functional space with a heavy door. Inside, there are stacks of paint cans and big mixing tubs everywhere. The floors are stained with a hundred different colors from years of spills. It is a busy environment. We have drivers coming in at all hours to pick up loads or drop off supplies. The noise of the trucks outside is just background music to us now. We have got a small desk near the back where we keep the books and take calls. It is usually covered in dust and maybe a few stray drops of yellow or blue paint. We do not have a marketing team or anyone to polish our image. We just sell paint to the people who need it. It gets hot in the summer, and the smell of the paint gets a bit thick, but we are all used to it by now. The crew here is just a few local guys who know the business inside out. We do not make things complicated. You want a certain type of finish, we find it in the stacks and get it loaded up. It is just straightforward work in a busy part of the city.
