Shri Ram Computers & Printers

The shop is right there in Adarsh Nagar Goner Road, very close to the bus stand. Because of the location, there is always a lot of dust coming in from the Agra Road traffic. We spend a good amount of time every morning just wiping down the monitors and the printer lids. Shri Ram Computers & Printers is a place where there is almost always the sound of a machine running. Whether it is a slow inkjet or a faster laser printer, the noise is constant. People who are waiting for their buses often pop their heads in to ask about a quick print or to check something on the internet. It gets quite warm in here during the summer months, even with the fans going full blast. We have stacks of paper everywhere and boxes of toner cartridges tucked under the counters. The floor is a bit stained from ink spills that happened years ago and never quite came out. It is a very practical sort of place. We don't have fancy displays or much room for people to sit and wait, so they usually just stand by the counter. Sometimes the power goes out for a bit, and everything goes quiet, which is a strange feeling. But then it comes back on, the machines beep, and we get back to it. It’s just how things go here on Goner Road, keeping the machines moving and the ink flowing for whoever stops by during the long day.
