Shri Gaytri Masala Laghu Udyog

If you ever find yourself in Sodala on Ajmer Road, you might catch the smell of spices before you even see the sign for Shri Gaytri Masala Laghu Udyog. The air inside our small unit is always thick with the scent of turmeric, chili, and coriander, which can make you sneeze if you aren't used to it. We have been running this small industry for some time, and it is a very hands-on process. The machines we use to grind the spices are loud and they shake the floor a little bit when they are running at full speed. We spend a lot of time cleaning the equipment and making sure the bags are sealed up tight so the freshness stays inside. The space is a bit cramped, especially when we have a big delivery of raw materials arriving from Ajmer Road. There is dust everywhere, but it’s the good kind of dust that comes from natural ingredients. We don't have a big front office or anything like that; it’s just the production area and a small desk where we handle the cash and the orders. The people who work here at Shri Gaytri Masala are locals from the neighborhood, and we all just get on with the job. It’s a hot and noisy environment, especially during the summer, but there is something satisfying about seeing the finished product ready to go out. We just keep our heads down and work.
