Shivam Computer Center

If you walk down College Road in Jobner, you’ll find Shivam Computer Center. We are situated right in that busy stretch that everyone uses to get to the institutions around here. Being near Jhotwara means there is always a flow of people, mostly younger folks and students looking to get things printed or fixed. The shop isn't very large, but we’ve managed to fit in enough desks and equipment to keep things running. It gets quite noisy during the afternoon when classes let out and everyone piles in at once. I usually have my hands full with keyboard repairs or helping someone navigate a program. The air inside always smells a bit like warm electronics and paper. I’ve been working on College Road for a long time now, so I’ve seen a lot of faces come and go. Sometimes the internet acts up, and we all have to wait around, which gives us time to chat about local news. It’s a very local kind of place where things are done without much fuss. The shelves are mostly filled with old manuals, boxes of blank discs, and some spare parts that I keep just in case. It’s not a polished corporate office; it’s more like a workshop where we solve problems as they come. Most days involve a lot of sitting at the bench, but it’s part of life here in Jobner. We just keep the doors open and see who comes in to get their work done before the sun sets.
