We are over here at 15/17 Civil Lines. It is an old part of town and we are based in Barwara House. Shimmit Utsch India Pvt Ltd has been in this spot for a good while now. The building has high ceilings and it stays cool even when it is hot outside. Most mornings start with someone making tea and checking what came in the mail. We have a few desks and some equipment scattered around. It is not the most organized place you will ever see but we know where everything is. The neighbors are mostly other offices and some old houses. You can hear the traffic from the main road if the windows are open. We spend most of our time just getting through the pile of work on our desks. Sometimes people drop by to ask directions because Barwara House is a bit of a landmark around here. We just tell them where to go and get back to what we were doing. It is a quiet enough place to work without too much trouble. We don't have fancy signs or anything like that. Just the name on the door and the address. It feels like home after all these years of coming here every single day. We are just a group of people trying to keep things running smoothly without making a big fuss about it. We like it this way.
