Our small office for S K Technology India is at 1C-61 in Shiv Shakti Colony. It is tucked away in Shastri Nagar, so it’s a bit quieter than the main roads. We spend most of our time sitting at the computers or tinkering with different tech parts. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to find the time to actually do it. There are usually a few of us here, and we keep the window open when the weather is nice to let some air in. Shiv Shakti Colony is a nice place to work because you get to know the people living around here. Sometimes the kids are playing in the street outside while we are trying to fix a software issue or look at some hardware. We have a lot of cables and old monitors sitting in the back room that we should probably clear out. The tea guy comes by twice a day and that is usually the highlight of our afternoon. It isn't a corporate setup with fancy furniture or anything like that. We just have our workstations and enough light to see what we are doing. Shastri Nagar has its own rhythm and we are just a small part of it. Most of the time it’s just quiet work, clicking away on keyboards and trying to figure out technical problems. We like it here because it feels like a real neighborhood.
