Shashank Engineering Works

Our shop, Shashank Engineering Works, is located right in Andhi Village in the Jamwa Ramgarh area. It is a bit of a drive out here, but we have been in this district for a while now. The workshop is not anything special to look at. It is just a lot of metal and machines that make a lot of noise. We start early in the morning when the air is still a bit cool. Once the machines start running, it gets pretty loud and dusty inside. I usually have grease on my hands by nine in the morning. It is hard work, but it is what we know how to do. Jamwa Ramgarh has changed a bit over the years, but the village stays mostly the same. We have a lot of regular people who come by when something breaks or they need a specific part fixed. We do not have a website or anything fancy like that. Most people just find us by asking around or seeing the sign when they drive through the district. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to sit around and wait for it to come back on. That is just part of being out here. We keep the floor as clean as we can, but with all the iron scraps, it is a constant battle. We just keep our heads down and do the work that comes in every day. (246 words)
