Saraswat Gururaj

Saraswat Gururaj is located at 3473 Chandpole Bazar on Nahargarh Road. If you know the old city, you know how tight these streets can get. It’s a very traditional area, and we’ve been part of it for a long time. Our shop isn't very large, but it’s packed with what we need. We see all sorts of people walking by heading towards the fort or the market. The mornings are usually spent setting things up and cleaning the front area. We don't have a big corporate structure here. It’s just us, doing the daily tasks that keep the place running. Sometimes the traffic outside gets so loud you have to shout to be heard, but that’s just Chandpole for you. We don't use any fancy sales tactics. We just tell people what we have and let them decide. It’s a very grounded way of doing business. We know many of the neighbors and other shopkeepers around here. It feels like a big family sometimes. We don't really have a mission statement or anything like that. We just want to do a decent job every day and go home. Our address is easy to find if you’re familiar with Nahargarh Road. We've been here through many seasons, and we plan to stay for many more. It’s an honest, simple way to make a living in a beautiful part of town.
