Saifi Con-Fab System Pvt.Ltd.

Over at Saifi Con-Fab System Pvt.Ltd., we spend most of our time out on Road No.7. Being in the Sarurupur Industrial Area means there is always a layer of dust on everything and the sound of trucks reversing in the background. We are on Plot No.86-87, and it’s a fairly large space that we’ve managed to fill up with all sorts of gear and materials. It’s not a clean-shirt kind of job. Most of us end the day with some kind of grease or grime on our clothes, but that’s just how it is when you’re working with your hands. The workshop can get really hot in the middle of the summer, so we usually have a couple of big fans going that don't do much but move the hot air around. We’ve got a small area where we keep the records and take our breaks, but the real work happens out on the floor. It’s a bit disorganized sometimes, with bits of metal and half-finished projects sitting around, but we know where everything is. The neighbors on Road No.7 are mostly doing the same thing we are, so there’s a bit of a community feel among the shops. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't. We just show up, do the fabrication work that's expected, and hope the electricity stays on all day so we can finish on time. It is a long day but we get through it.
