Rupayan Inc

Rupayan Inc is tucked away in the Sitapura Garment Zone at F 106, which is quite a walk from the main gate. It is one of those places where you always hear the sound of heavy machinery and the chatter of people working on different floors. We are right by the Jaipur G P O Epip area, so there is always some kind of movement outside. The rooms are filled with piles of cloth and different colored threads lying around on the floor. Most of the guys have been working here for years and they know exactly where everything is, even if it looks like a mess to someone else. We drink a lot of tea to stay awake during the long afternoon shifts when the heat gets heavy. The office part is just a small desk in the corner with a lot of papers stacked up. It is not a shiny place. The walls could use a bit of paint and the windows are usually covered in a bit of dust from the road. We get the work done and that is what matters most to us. Sometimes the trucks arrive late and we have to stay back to finish loading. It is a bit hectic but that is just how the garment business goes in this part of town. We just keep our heads down and handle the daily tasks one by one without much fuss.
