Our shop is at Shop No 1 in Ajay Vihar, which is on Gandhi Path West in the Lalarpura area of Vaishali Nagar. We are quite close to the Shyam Vatika Marriage Garden. During the wedding season, the whole street gets incredibly busy with lights and music, which makes for an interesting work environment. Our space is just a single shop on the ground floor, so it’s easy for people to just walk right in off the street. We’ve got our counters set up near the front and the work area in the back where all the tools are kept. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when we have a lot of equipment coming in, but we have a system for keeping it all straight. The neighborhood is growing fast, with new buildings going up all around us. We’ve seen the area change quite a bit since we first moved into this spot. We don’t have any fancy marketing materials or a glossy brochure to hand out. If you come by, you’ll probably find us mid-task, maybe surrounded by a few open computer cases or tangled cables. It’s a practical sort of place. We keep a fan going most of the time to stay cool, and there is usually a stack of delivery boxes near the door waiting to be cleared out. It’s just a normal, local business doing its thing in a busy part of Vaishali Nagar, and we like it that way.
