Rohit Flower Decoration

Our spot is over at number 16 on Jal Mahal Road, right near the Amer Road side of things. If you know the area, we are very close to the Kala Hanuman Mandir. Being near a temple means we start our days very early when the sun is barely up. Rohit Flower Decoration is mostly about getting the fresh flowers in and making sure they stay hydrated in the heat. There’s always a lot of water on the floor and the smell of jasmine or marigolds in the air. We do a lot of work for local weddings and functions that happen around Jaipur. Sometimes it's just someone wanting a small garland for their morning prayers. The traffic on Amer Road can be a bit of a headache, especially with all the tourists going towards the fort. But we like the energy of the place. We have been here for a long time, and the shop is like a second home. The walls have seen a lot of seasons. We don’t really bother with big advertisements. Most people just see the flowers outside and stop their scooters. It’s a messy job sometimes, with thorns and leaves everywhere, but it’s what we do. By the time the evening hits, we are usually cleaning up the stray petals and getting ready for the next morning's delivery from the mandi.
