Rajputana Designersprivate Limited is based on Kalwar Road, specifically at B-57 in Ganesh Nagar 9th. We’re right here in Jaipur, 302012. We do design work, which keeps us pretty busy throughout the week. Our office is a simple place where we brainstorm ideas and try to turn them into something real. It’s not a high-end studio; it’s more of a workshop where we aren't afraid to get our hands dirty. There are rolls of paper and pencils everywhere. We spend a lot of time debating over the small details of a design. Sometimes it takes all day just to get one thing right. We don’t have a big team, so we all have to wear different hats. One minute we’re designers and the next we’re moving furniture or answering the phone. It’s a bit of a juggle, but we like the variety. The neighborhood is okay, and we’ve gotten to know the people nearby. We don’t put on airs or pretend to be something we’re not. We’re just a group of people who enjoy designing things and want to make a living doing it. It’s not always easy, but we’ve managed to keep things going for a while now. We just focus on the task in front of us and try to finish our projects on time. Every day is a little different, and that is why we like it here.
