R S Computer is right over in the Thikiriya Bhamasha Mandi area. If you know the Mandi, you know it stays busy with people coming and going for trade all the time. Our shop is right in the middle of that energy. We deal with computers every day, whether it’s fixing a screen or helping someone get their system set up properly. It’s a small space, mostly filled with towers, monitors, and boxes of cables that we haven’t had a chance to organize yet. We see a lot of local folks who drop by because their laptop stopped working or they need a specific part. We don’t really do much advertising because the word travels fast enough around the market. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when three or four people are waiting at the same time, but we manage. My desk is usually covered in screws and small tools. I’ve lived around here for a long time, so I know most of the people who walk past the shop. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know our way around a motherboard. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until the market starts to quiet down in the evening. There is always something to tinker with or a software update that’s taking too long. That is just how it goes here. We close up around seven most nights and walk home.
