Our office for Profeesional Softech Private Limited is at C 53 in Govindpuri, right in the Nandpuri area of Jaipur. It’s a residential neighborhood, so it feels a bit different than working in a big tech park or a downtown office building. We like it that way because it’s a bit more relaxed and the commute isn't too bad for most of us. The house has been converted so we have our computers set up in the main rooms. We have a few wires running across the floor that we really should tape down one of these days so nobody trips. Jaipur can get very dusty, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the screens and keyboards. There are about six of us here on a good day. We take turns making tea in the small kitchen in the back when we need a break. The 302017 pin code area is where we've set down our roots. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one near the gate so people don't miss the turn. It’s not a fancy corporate environment with meetings every five minutes. We wear what we want and work at our own pace as long as the projects get finished. Sometimes the power cuts out and we have to wait for the generator to kick in. It’s just how it is here. It’s honest work and a decent place to spend the day.
