Priyanka Giftorium

Our shop is right in the B-49 section of Saraogi Mansion on M I Road. If you know Jaipur, you know M I Road is always packed with people and cars. It’s a classic spot. Priyanka Giftorium has been in this building for years. Saraogi Mansion is an old place, and it has its own character. Our unit isn't the biggest, but we pack a lot into it. We carry all sorts of gift items, from small trinkets to bigger pieces for the home. It’s mostly just us working here every day. The lighting inside could be better, but it’s cozy enough. We get a lot of tourists because of the location, but we also have our regular locals who’ve been coming to M I Road for decades. It’s a lot of standing around and waiting for customers, then suddenly five people walk in at once. That’s just the rhythm of retail. We don't spend money on big ads or anything like that. We just open the doors and see who comes in. The rent in this part of town isn't cheap, so we have to stay busy. It’s a good place to be, right in the heart of the city. We enjoy the buzz of the street outside, even if the noise gets to be a bit much by the evening. It’s just a normal shop run by normal people. The building itself has seen better days. We've arranged the displays to make the most of the narrow aisles.
