Pradeep Engineers

Pradeep Engineers is located at number 10 in Laxminarayanpuri, right in the Jhotwara area. We have been operating out of this space for years, and it has definitely seen better days. The building is simple, and we spend most of our time out in the work area rather than in the little office. It gets incredibly hot here during the summer months, so we usually start our work very early in the morning to beat the sun. We do a lot of fabrication and general engineering work. There is always the sound of grinding or welding going on, which makes it hard to hear the phone. Most of our tools are old but they still get the job done just fine. We have a small yard where we keep the raw materials, and it’s always a bit of a struggle to keep it organized. Usually, there are three or four of us working on different projects at the same time. We don't really have a showroom; if you want to see what we do, you just walk into the workshop and look at what’s on the bench. People from around Jhotwara know us mostly by word of mouth. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy sign out front. It’s just a practical place where we work with our hands and try to get the orders finished on time for whoever needs them. It's tough work but it's what we've always done.
