Pooja Gift Centre

Our shop, Pooja Gift Centre, is located right on the Main Road of M I Road at B 9 A. This is one of the busiest parts of the city, so there is never a dull moment. We have been at this address for quite a while now. The shop is filled with all sorts of gifts, from small trinkets to larger items for the home. We have a big glass window at the front that we use to show off some of the newer things we’ve gotten in. Because we are on the main road, we get a mix of local residents and people who are just visiting Jaipur for the day. The inside of the shop is a bit narrow, and the shelves go all the way up to the ceiling. We often have to use a small stool to reach the items on the top. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than three or four people are inside at once. We don’t use any corporate language or have a polished look. It’s just a regular shop with wooden counters and a tile floor that’s seen better days. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass because the dust from the street is constant. M I Road is always loud with horns and people shouting, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We open early in the morning and don’t head home until quite late. It’s just how things go when you run a business at B 9 A.
