Pandaya Pritam Kumar

My name is Pritam Kumar and I run things here at Kishanpole Bazar 15. It’s a busy spot, always lots of noise from the market outside. I’ve been working out of this space for a long time. People around here know where to find me if they need something. I don’t have a big team or anything, just a couple of us making sure everything runs okay. The shop isn't much to look at, just a door and some windows on a crowded street. I spend most of my day talking to customers and sorting through paperwork. Sometimes the power goes out or the delivery is late, but we manage. That’s just how it is in the bazaar. You get used to the chaos after a few years. I don’t use any of those big words to describe what I do. It’s just work. I show up, I help the people who come in, and I go home. It’s a simple life. The building is old and the walls could use some paint, but it’s home for the business. I know the other shopkeepers nearby and we look out for each other. If you’re ever near number 15, you’ll probably see me sitting there. I’m not going anywhere. We just keep moving along, one day at a time, trying to do a decent job for whoever walks in. Sometimes the rains make the street messy, but we keep the door open anyway. It’s been my life for years.
