We spend most of our days here at 312 Chaura Rasta, right in the middle of Film Colony's Dawa Bazar. It’s always a bit chaotic outside with the rickshaws and people constantly moving stock around. Our space is usually filled with stacks of boxes waiting to be sorted. Sometimes the heat in the afternoon gets a bit much, especially when the fans aren't enough to move the heavy air inside the bazaar. Most mornings start with unlocking the shutters and checking what came in the night before. There’s a tea stall just a few doors down where we get our first cup of the day. You can hear the noise from the main road all day long, but you get used to it after a while. Most of us have been working here for years now. We don't have a big fancy office, just a lot of shelves and a desk that’s always covered in papers. It’s a practical place for practical work. When it rains, the water sometimes splashes near the entrance, and we have to move everything back a few feet. It’s just how it is in this part of town. We keep things moving and make sure the orders get where they need to go without much fuss. There’s no big secret to how we run things, just showing up and doing the job.
