Nictech

Nictech is up in Okay Plus Square in Mansarover, Jaipur. Our units are 701 and 706. It’s a modern enough building, which is nice. We have a good view from the seventh floor. You can see a lot of Mansarover from up here. The office is mostly open plan. We have a lot of computers set up for the work we do. It gets a bit warm in the afternoons when the sun hits the windows, so we keep the blinds down. We’ve been here since the building was fairly new. We do a lot of technical work, mostly software and support. The elevators in the building can be slow, so we often end up waiting in the lobby chatting. We have a small corner for making tea and coffee. It's nothing fancy, just a kettle and some mugs. We don't have a big corporate dress code. Most of us just wear what's comfortable for sitting at a desk all day. We work through our tasks and talk to each other across the room when we need help. It’s a practical setup. We aren't trying to impress anyone with a lobby or a big reception desk. We just focus on the screens and get the work done before heading home. Sometimes we stay a bit late to finish a project, but we usually try to beat the worst of the evening traffic. It’s a decent place to spend the day.
