New Globe Group

New Globe Group is right in the heart of the old city in Tripoliya Bazar. Our shop is at number 556 on Maniharon Ka Rasta. If you know the area, you know how tight the lanes are and how many people are constantly moving through. It’s a place full of colors and sounds. We work out of this small space and it’s always a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of stock coming in. Being in Maniharon Ka Rasta means we are surrounded by tradition. You can hear the sounds of craftsmen working nearby and the constant chatter of shoppers bargaining. We handle a lot of paperwork and orders throughout the day. It’s not a fancy office with air conditioning. We have our old desks and plenty of files tucked away in corners. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we just have to sit and wait or work by the light coming in from the doorway. The market has its own rhythm and you just have to go along with it. We don't use any polished language to describe what we do. We are just traders in a very old part of town. We’ve seen the seasons change many times from this same spot. When the day ends, we pack everything up carefully because space is so limited. It’s a tough environment but it’s home for us and we like the bustle.
