New Amit Provision Store

Our shop is located at Project No. 14/795 on Arun Marg. It’s a quiet enough corner of Nehru Nagar, though it picks up in the evenings when everyone is coming home from work. We carry the usual stuff you’d expect from a provision store. Lentils, rice, soaps, and those little things people forget to buy at the big supermarkets. The shelves are packed pretty tight because we try to fit in as much as we can. It’s not the biggest space, so you have to watch your elbows sometimes when it gets crowded. I spend a lot of time checking the stock and making sure we have enough of the basics. We get a lot of neighbors coming in just for a single packet of milk or some sugar. It’s nice to see the same faces every day. Sometimes the delivery trucks block the narrow road for a bit, but the neighbors are used to it by now and don't complain much. We don't have a fancy computer system or anything, just a notebook and a pen mostly. It keeps things simple and we don't have to worry about the power going out. If someone needs something we don't have, we try to get it for them by the next week. It’s just me and a couple of helpers running the show. We’ve been in this spot for a good while and don't plan on moving.
