Our little shop is at Aa/15 in Jay Ambenagar. It’s a humble place, honestly. We don't have a big storefront or any of that modern styling you see in the new malls. It’s just a solid door and a sign that’s been there for years. Jay Ambenagar is a decent area, mostly people who have lived here for a long time. We know the shopkeepers on both sides of us quite well. We usually open up early before the sun gets too high, sweeping the front and getting the lights on. The space inside is small, so we have to be careful about how we stack things. It’s mostly shelves filled with various bits and pieces. There’s a small desk in the corner where the bills get sorted, but it’s usually covered in other things too. We don't have air conditioning, just a couple of ceiling fans that have been rattling for a decade. It gets the job done though. Most of our day is spent talking to people who walk in or checking the inventory. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there; we just like having our own spot and doing things our way. It’s a simple life, and the work is steady. We like the neighborhood because it’s familiar and everyone knows where we are if they need something. There’s a tea stall just a short walk away where we go for a break when the afternoon gets slow.
