Mukesh Masala Store

We are located at No.61 in the Anaj Mandi, right in the Main Bazar of Sanganer. Being near the Government Hospital means there are always people around, even late at night. Mukesh Masala Store is a small place but we pack a lot into it. The Anaj Mandi is a busy area, especially in the mornings when the wholesale trading is happening. You can hear people shouting prices and the sound of carts being dragged over the uneven ground. Inside our shop, it’s mostly shelves filled with glass jars and large plastic bins. We sell all kinds of spices and mixtures. Some people come in looking for specific things to help with their cooking, and we just scoop it out and weigh it for them. The floor is concrete and it’s seen better days, with plenty of chips and stains from years of use. We don't have any fancy marketing or big advertisements. Most people just know we are here because they pass by on their way to the hospital or the market. It gets very crowded on market days and you can barely move inside the shop. We try to keep things clean, but when you are dealing with loose flour and spices, there is always a bit of a mess. It’s a simple life and we just focus on the daily tasks of serving whoever walks through the door. Sometimes the street gets flooded after a heavy rain, and we have to put sandbags by the entrance to keep the water out.
