Mohan Kirana

I've been here at 1, Mohan Kirana on Sirsi Road for a while now. Most days I open up early because people around Jaipur - 302021 need their morning things before heading to work. It’s a small place, nothing fancy. I just stock what folks usually ask for like dal, rice, and soap. Sometimes the delivery truck comes late and I have to wait around, but that's just how it is. My family helps out too when it gets busy in the evenings. The shelves aren't always perfectly lined up but I know where everything is. People stop by on their way home to grab a packet of biscuits or some milk. The neighborhood has changed a lot since I started, more traffic on Sirsi Road these days. I try to keep the staples in stock so nobody has to go too far. It's just a regular shop where we know most of our customers by name. Sometimes we sit on the wooden bench outside and talk about the weather or the price of onions. It’s not a big supermarket, just a local spot for your daily needs.
