We've been here at M I Road 144 for a good while now. It’s a busy spot, you know how it is in this part of town. The shop isn't huge but we keep it tidy enough. Mostly we handle phones and talk to people about their plans or whatever gadget is acting up that day. People come in from the street, sometimes just to ask for directions or because their screen cracked. We try to keep things simple. No fancy talk here. If a phone can be fixed, we tell you. If it's a goner, well, that's just how it goes. My cousin helps out sometimes when it gets really packed in the afternoons. The tea stall next door is usually where we get our break. It’s just us doing our thing every day from morning until the shutters go down. M I Road has changed a lot, more traffic now, more noise, but our little corner stays pretty much the same. We have some old shelves and a desk that’s seen better days, but it works. People know us by now. We don't spend money on big signs or anything. Just the name Lima Communication on the front. Sometimes the internet is slow and we just wait it out. That's life here. We just keep going, selling a few things, fixing a few things, and chatting with whoever walks through the door at 144. It’s a job, and we’re glad to have it.
